I’m Jeremy Criddle. I write the ADHD Hunter and ADHD Runner book series, and I run a small network of independent content sites — this is one of them.
I’ll say directly what I won’t pretend: I’m not over 50, and I’m not the audience for this site’s travel logistics personally. What I do is real research — current booking-window data, real senior-specific policies (car rental age surcharges, ADA hotel room specifics, accessible-room availability), and honest sourcing — rather than writing from lived experience I don’t have. This site used to lean toward dating and companion-matching content; that framing was dropped entirely in favor of straightforward travel logistics for travelers over 50, solo or otherwise.
How I Research
Every number here is sourced and current — the roughly 23% savings from booking 8-14 days out versus four months, the real age-based car rental restrictions by provider, what an “ADA room” actually guarantees versus what it doesn’t. Where the honest answer creates a tradeoff (price versus availability on fixed dates), that tradeoff is stated rather than smoothed over.
